The term “Masseria” originates from the Latin word “massa,” which referred to a large agricultural estate. Over time, the term evolved to describe fortified farmhouses or country estates typical of Southern Italy, especially in the Puglia region. These structures were historically used as self-sustaining agricultural centers, where landowners and workers lived and produced goods like olive oil, wine, and cheese.

Calderoni Martini is a project that originated from an ancient farmhouse, which belonged five centuries ago to the noble families of Calderoni and Martini.

The meticulous restoration and renovation work – begun in 2007, has transformed this historic place into a stunning Wedding Venue, hosting hundreds of events every year.
